Legendary Stuff ...

What or who do you mean by a legend?

legend [ˈlɛdʒənd]

1. a modern story that has taken on the characteristics of a traditional legendary tale
2. a person whose fame makes him/her a source of exaggerated or romanticized tales or exploits

There are some legends handed down to us by our elders. And then, there are some legendary achievements that we witness during our lifetime.
Yesterday, we were witness to a legendary achievement by Mike and Bob Bryan, popularly known as - 'The Bryan Brothers'.
They won the Wimbledon Mens Doubles Title last evening and in the process became the first doubles team to hold the title for all Grand Slams and the Olympic Gold at London, 2012, as well.

What makes them stand out amongst the rest is their work ethic, aggressive style and hustling style of play.
One detail that doesn't go unnoticed is that they are 'mirror twins'. Means, they mirror each other's movement as one plays right handed while the other is left handed.
Not just this, but what makes them legendary is that the Bryan Brothers have won more games, more tournaments, more titles and more Grand Slams that any other doubles pair.
They have been ranked as the No. 1 pair in Mens Doubles Tennis by the ATP for 310 weeks, which is more than any other pairing in the history of the sport. They've also ended as the No. 1 pair for 8 years which is a record.
