The Australians are known for their feisty approach to the game but have never been known to uphold the game's spirit (barring Gilchrisht, of course).
Right from Greg Chapell, Dennis Lillee, Glen McGrath, Brett Lee, Michael Slater, Andrew Symonds to Ricky Ponting.
Strangely enought, Cricket Australia (CA) has always turned a blind eye to these incidents.
With David Warner joining this elite band of rogues, it's time for CA to get it's act right and ensure that not just their reputation but the game's spirit is upheld.
With Shane Watson's game on the wane, Warner has everything going for him to be the next captain in line, should Michael Clarke fail. But this is definitely a setback.
Hope CA holds his hand and tutors him, like the way they helped Ricky Ponting and we don't get to see another bright career go down the drain.
