It just takes 6 gms of Gold to lift the worth of a nation

An apt tagline for the 'Olympic Gold Quest'.

Our love for gold is not just restricted to jewelry and investment, anymore.

Hunt for yellow metal by the OGQ (www.olympicgoldquest.in) is slowly gathering steam.

Started by Geet Sethi and Prakash Padukone, they've done some fantastic work in providing needy athletes with much required support.
The organisation is building a team of India sportspersons who can be potential gold medal winners in the 2012 games at London.
It has also received supports fm sporting greats such as Leander Paes, Vishy Anand and Viren Rasquinha (no cricketers involved so far).

Latest in the line, was the funding made towards Saina Nehwal's trip to HK where the funds were sanctioned in 2 days flat.
They're also working with Mary Kom, Gagan Narang and Suranjoy Singh who are gold medal hopefuls for 2012.

Quite a few corporates have come forward to partner the OGQ in it's endeavor. The best part of this effort is that all funds are utilised in training and developing the athletes.

With current and past sportstars heading the foundation, the day is not far when India will see not one but a bunch of gold medals coming home.
